The Indian poster of much talked about Sherlyn Chopra's upcoming film Kamasutra 3D was released by Joshua Frederic Smith, An American actor .It was unveiled in American Film Market, Los Angeles and Sherlyn was quite excited about it.
The film Kamasutra 3D was announced even before Sherlyn Chopra was finalised to play the main lead part. The film was announced in Cannes film festival by director Rupesh Paul. The new development we hear is that the makers of Kamasutra have decided not to shoot the nude and love making scenes in India. They will be shooting in Hollywood. The makers state the reason that they don’t wish to go against Indian law and also have no intentions to hurt the hindu sentiments.
If this becomes true, All we can say is the Playboy magazine cover is paying Sherlyn Chopra very high as she takes Kamasutra 3D to Hollywood along with her.

Fire breaks out in hotel hosting YPD 2 crew in U.K.

#
The shooting of Sangeeth Sivan's Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (YPD 2) has been going on in full swing in U.K. since a couple of months. The film's cast and crew however got the shock of their lives when the hotel in which they were put up in Leicester caught fire on Wednesday night.
Even though all the cast and crew were immediately evacuated from the hotel, it was quite a traumatic experience for them. They had to wait on the streets for almost a couple of hours late at night braving the cold till the fire fighting team managed to douse the fire. Nevertheless the team still managed to resume shooting the very next day afternoon barely having slept a wink.

Confirming the same, Sangeeth Sivan tweeted, "day53- trial by fire- major fire broke out at d hotel housing our crew at 1am -no 1 was hurt & evn tho many had no sleep, still wrkd frm noon . a big ty to d unit .. so v hv nw overcome cold, fog, & fire."
YPD 2 slated to release next year re-unites the 3 Deols (Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby) once again after their smash hit YPD.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to release on July 12, 2013

#
Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra's much talked about and anticipated film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has been scheduled for release in July next year. The film, which is a biopic on the life of the 'Flying Sikh' Milkha Singh, features Farhan Akhtar in the lead role.
The shooting of the film which commenced earlier this year in Feb, also stars Sonam Kapoor. An interesting fact to note is that Farhan, who will be seen back on screen after a two year gap, has a very special bond in terms of the film's release date. Hence, the film's release is set to coincide with his earlier film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara that also released the same week last year.

Shahrukh Khan to endorse Mahagun Group

#
Shahrukh Khan AKA the King Khan of Bollywood, always had everything going his way. On one hand, while his latest offering Jab Tak Hain Jaan has released to packed houses, on the other, he still continues to be the eternal choice of every brand to be its ambassador.

This time round, he has been made brand ambassador for a real estate development firm called Mahagun Developers. Dhiraj Jain (Director of Mahagun India) said "Great names are built with consistent performances, and Shahrukh and Mahagun have both built their reputation with excellence in performances every time giving each of them an appropriate tag - 'A name that performs'." Meanwhile, SRK said that "Mahagun Group is all set for its next level of growth and future vision with a new contemporary look by launching a brand new identity, fresh modern communication, and starting an association with iconic brand ambassador"
Mahagun Group's contract with SRK is for 1-year tenure.

YRF vindicated in case filed by ADF

#
The ensuing battle between Ajay Devgn Films (ADF) and Yash Raj Films (YRF) seems to be stretching beyond belief. With both sides claiming that neither of them is wrong the end is nowhere near. For the uninitiated the reason behind this battle royal is the case filed with the Competition Commission by ADF that sates YRF have wrongfully used their clout within the industry to pre book majority screens for their upcoming diwali release Jab Tak Hai Jaan thus hampering the release of Son Of Sardaar
While on one hand we have ADF claiming that the
Competition Tribunal have since upheld the case which was earlier rejected by the Competition Commission, YRF have a different tale to tell. Revealing their side of their ongoing scenario Rafiq Gangjee, Vice President Marketing & Communications at YRF, said, "After the Competition Commission dismissed the complaint filed by Ajay Devgn Films (ADF) on the basis that they were of the opinion that there was no contravention of the Act in this case, the Competition Appellate Tribunal, in a hearing today, also refused to pass any interim order against Yash Raj Films (YRF) on the ground that the complainant had not put forward sufficient facts to establish that YRF had violated the Competition Act.

We completely refute the press release put out by ADF as the Competition Appellate Tribunal did not find any merit in the contention of ADF because the Tribunal was of the view that ADF has totally failed to establish that the agreements entered into by YRF with the single screens cinemas would cause any appreciable adverse effect on competition. It was also noted by the Tribunal that YRF had announced the release of its film on June 27, 2011 with its announcement of the release of its film for Diwali 2012 and commenced booking of single screen theatres in June, July & Aug 2012. On the contra, ADF announced the release of its film only on May 29, 2012 and approached the single screen owners only in October 2012 by which time YRF had taken a lead. It was expressly noted that the number of screens contracted for Jab Tak Hai Jaan, being far less than that of Ek Tha Tiger; prima facie no case of adverse effect on competition, much less appreciable effect on competition, was made out.
In a free competition Ajay Devgn admits that the cine goers will decide the film that they wish to see. With both the films having opened the booking on the same day, the cine goers already seem to have expressed their verdict. Even as we go press with this release, we are being approached by a large number of theatres with offers to screen our film.
Despite several media queries, YRF has maintained a strict media silence while the matter was pending before the competent judicial authorities, deeming it inappropriate to comment on the matter while it was before the judicial authorities. YRF has never desired nor manipulated such publicity.
It is unfortunate that our refusal to comment has led to aspersions being cast on YRF's business practices, which have always been ethical and of the highest standards.
With this matter having been laid to rest for now, we would like to get back to releasing Jab Tak Hai Jaanthis Diwali on November 13. This is the time to celebrate a Yash Chopra Romance, which has traditionally lit up homes worldwide, during this festive season.
And Yash Raj Films' will continue to do so, jab tak hai jaan!"

Bollywood Hungama

Bebo, Malaika, Sonakshi to perform at Dabangg 2 music launch

Salman Khan's success run at the box office started with his 2009 film Wanted, followed by Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger. Now ready with the sequel Dabangg 2 to his 2010 film, where he reprised the role of the lovable cop Chulbul Pandey, Salman is all set to thrill fans this December.

#

However to make the sequel extra special the makers of the film have decided to start promotions with a grand music launch. In fact they have planned an elaborate music launch on November 15, which will feature Malaika Arora Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha performing to their respective item numbers from the film.

Taking a hint from its predecessor 'Munni', which was a major hit, Dabangg 2 will have two item numbers namely 'Fevicol' featuring Kareena, and, 'Pandeyji Seeti Bajaye' with Sonakshi and Malaika. What's more reports also say that Salman will be joining the three ladies on stage.

Dabangg 2, which marks Arbaaz Khan's directorial debut, is slated for release on December 21.

Kareena's item song ties up with adhesive company

It isn't for nothing that the much-anticipated item song in Dabangg 2 is called 'Fevicol'. We've come to know that producer-director Arbaaz Khan has tied up with the multi-national company for a huge collaborative project before allowing Kareena to croon in favour of the well-known adhesive company.
Kareena started shooting the 'Fevicol' song from November 5 onwards. This is the first time Kareena returns to the arc lights after her much-hyped wedding on October 18. Farah Khan choreographs the number

#

Says a source, "Salman wants Kareena's item song inDabangg 2 to be bigger, brighter and bouncier than 'Munni Badnaam' in Dabangg. He selected the tune, and finalized Mamta Sharma to sing it. He also decided on bringing the adhesive company into the song. If you remember, the 'Munni Badnaam' song in Dabangg had gotten into a wrangle with the Zandu balm product for mentioning their product in the song. Subsequently, producer Arbaaz Khan sat across the table with the balm makers and the two parties worked out a lucrative deal whereby Malika Arora who performed 'Munni Badnaam' endorsed the balm and also became its brand ambassador. A similar deal has been worked out with the Fevicol company for the item song in Dabangg 2."

The idea is to use the Dabangg franchise as a platform for an endorsement-based item song each time. It was Zandu balm in Dabangg, it's Fevicol in Dabangg 2. It would be another popular product in the next film.

Confirming these developments Arbaaz Khan took time off from his frantic editing to say, "Yes, we're tying up with an adhesive company for Kareena Kapoor's item song Fevicol. But the brand won't be thrown into the audiences' faces .It's been sung in a very earthy way by Mamta Sharma, so that it sounds like 'Phebikol' in the number."
So it is an earthy rustic number?

"Very much so," informs Arbaaz. "We wanted the track to move ahead of what we did with 'Munni Badnaam' in Dabangg. The song's being formatted similarly. Salman will be joining Kareena , just like he joined in with Malaika in 'Munni Badnaam'."

Post Luv Shuv... Sameer Sharma to make Jugalbandi

Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana's director Sameer Sharma seems to have found a winning recipe for good filmmaking. After a film revolving around a chicken recipe, Sameer is all set to direct a film woven around the theme of songs and music. The film to be titled Jugalbandi and would be dedicated to Sameer's grandfather, the legendary singer Mukesh.

#

Says Sameer, "Mukesh was my nanajee (maternal grandfather). Neil Nitin Mukesh is my cousin. I grew up in an environment of music and food. My father is an hotelier. So I've spent much of my childhood in hotel kitchens. I guess that's where my love for food began. You see that manifested in my first film Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana. Now, in my second film my love for music will be apparent." Jugalbandi would tell the story of two musicians, the guru and hisshishya

"Like Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Jugalbandi is a story written by my friend Sumit Batheja," says Sameer who began his career in cinema assisting Aditya Chopra on Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

One wondered why Sameer's cousin Neil didn't feature in his first film. "Kunnu (Kunal Kapoor) and I had planned Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana together from scratch. It was our project. There was no question of anyone else doing it."

Sameer reveals how the film was originally planned in the Punjabi language. "Yeah. It was planned as a Punjabi film, since the whole milieu flavour and location is Punjabi. But somewhere down the line we felt it would work better in Hindi. I think we all felt it deserved a pan-India audience."

What works in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana is the Punjabiyat. "All the actors are Punjabi. We didn't want to lose out on the authenticity. We don't know how much the genuineness of the presentation works in its favour. But we haven't heard anyone say they found the film artificial in its characterization or spoken language."

Salman Khan promises Kashif Qureshi a Wild Card Entry on Bigg Boss?

Salman Khan promises Kashif Qureshi a Wild Card Entry on Bigg Boss?

Evicted contestant Kashif Qureshi who participated  as the 'common man' in Bigg Boss 6, has apparently told his close friends that the show's megastar host Salman Khan has himself promised him a Wild Card Entry on Bigg Boss soon.
Earlier, Kashif, who is a martial arts artist, was reported to have bagged BB6 at Salman's recommendation, having known him personally through a common friend, and said to have choreographed some fight sequences for his film Wanted. Currently back in his hometown Hyderabad, Kashif hasn't stopped celebrating his two-week stint on the show. Apart from giving various local television interviews and participating in dinners and felicitations, Kashif has even been meeting Police officials in Hyderabad and boasting about how close he is to Salman.

In one of his televised interviews Kashif even went on record saying, Salman "apologised" to him and said he will "not continue" the show if Kashif does not "forgive" him.

Though this sounds as a far cry, it can be recalled that during the last season of Bigg Boss, Salman had allegedly recommended Mahek Chahal (who had worked with him in Wanted and Mr and Mrs Khanna) for Bigg Boss and later even planted her as a Wild Card Entry on the show, despite various allegations of favouritism.

Contestants like Pooja Bedi, Amar Upadhyay, Siddharth Bhardwaj, Pooja Misrra and Akashdeep Sky Saigal had cried foul about Salman's manipulations, but it hadn't affected his stance, with Mahek emerging a runner-up on Bigg Boss.

Katrina Kaif visits Ajmer Sharif

en after the controversy over women being banned at Haji Ali dargah, actress Katrina Kaifvisited Ajmer Sharif to offer prayers on Tuesday morning a week before the release of her film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

It has been a tradition with the actress for the last five years. The actress has been going to Ajmer Sharif regularly before the release of her films . Katrina first visited the dargah for the shooting of her film Namaste London. Unfortunately her first visit got her into trouble with the dargah for wearing a knee length dress. The producer of the film Vipul Shah, actor Rishi Kapoor and the actress had to apologise later. But that did not stop her from going to dargah film after film.

A witness from dargah said, "She initially used to disguise herself in a burqa but after people found out she now visits wearing a salwar kameez. But this time again she came with her face covered to avoid chaos at the dargah.''

Some of the other celebs who regularly visit Ajmer Sharif are GovindaAjay DevgnEkta KapoorPriyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt.
